Eric has earned a reputation for creating buzz-generating campaigns that infiltrate pop culture and
produce outstanding results for clients. Holding the creative reigns at Deutsch LA and co-heading the
office, Eric provides leadership and guidance for all creative work that originates at Deutsch LA,
including the famous Mitsubishi Motors' "Wake Up and Drive" campaign, DIRECTV's "Installer Guy," Coors
Light's "Wingman," the "Happy Cows" for the California Milk Advisory Board and breakthrough work for
Expedia.com.

Eric has helped build Deutsch's west coast presence from just 10 employees and $2 million in billings in
1997, to over 300 employees and over $890 million in billings today.
His work has been recognized by Communication Arts, The One Show, the national Addys, Adweek's "Best
Spots of the Decade" and Adweek's "Best Spots of the Year" every year since 1998. Eric and his team
also took Best of Show honors at the Belding Awards in 2002. These achievements resulted in Eric being
named Creative Leader of the Year by the WSAAA in 2002. Eric and his work have been profiled on The
Today Show and the CBS Morning News.
Before joining Deutsch LA in 1997, Eric was the Senior Vice President/Creative Director at Fattal and
Collins, Los Angeles.

and media, Joseph Jaffe is President and founder of jaffe, L.L.C.
- a "New Marketing" consulting practice that works with both the buy and sell sides, offering a suite of
strategic and creative services, agency relations consulting and training.

Prior to consulting, Joseph was Director of Interactive Media at TBWA\Chiat\Day and OMD USA, where he worked on
clients including Kmart, ABSOLUT Vodka, Embassy Suites and Samsonite.
Joseph brings with him a diverse mix of both client and agency experience, on both the traditional and
Interactive sides of the business. He is a regular contributor on iMediaconnection.com and his weekly
"Jaffe Juice"
column is a favorite read within the industry. Jaffe's first book, "How to Fix Marketing" is due in Q4 of 2004.
Jaffe is a founding faculty member of iMediaLearning, and has also lectured part-time at NYU's Stern
School of Business, Cornell's Johnson School of Business and Syracuse University.
Hailing from South Africa, Joseph lives with his wife and two children in Westport, Connecticut.
