ROB PALMER
Creative Director
Goodby, Silverstein & Partners

Rob Palmer is currently a Creative Director at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

Before that Rob has worked at a number of good agencys, and one pretty lousy one. Just prior to joining Goodby, Palmer was the Executive Creative Director Senior Vice President at Chemistri in Troy, Michigan. Where he oversaw all of the National and Regional work for Cadillac.

Before chemistry, Rob was a Creative Director at
Wieden + Kennedy. He oversaw accounts like Miller Beer, AltaVista, Amazon, and Nike Golf. Rob was also part of the new business team at Wieden for several years. Just before leaving, he helped to pitch and win the AOL brand assignment. Palmer joined Wieden as an Art Director in 1995; along the way he's created work for ESPN's SportsCenter, Nike and AltaVista.

After receiving a top-notch education from Art Center, Rob began peddling his advertising wares at a number of reputable ad institutions, including The Bomb Factory and BBDO West. He even did a tour of duty at Chiat Day where he helped launch iMac Colors as the Creative Director on Apple. He's also worked on little-known brands such as Coca-Cola, Levi's and Rhino Records.

Some of his work has earned Rob a pretty impressive collection of paperweights: One Show pencils, an Emmy, an MTV Video of the Year space man thing, and enough Portland Show Rosies to melt down into a Mini Cooper. While Rob appreciates this sort of recognition, nothing pleases him more than watching a brand succeed. He also likes playing with his six-year-old son.
